February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness & Prevention Month. During the month of February, we ask for your help to raise awareness about teen dating violence - working together, we can put an end to the violence!
What Can You Do?
Wear a purple ribbon to show your support.
Put up posters and signs, or hand out information cards in your community.
Urge your local high school to establish a Dating Violence Policy if there isn't one already in place.
Talk about dating violence with your teen children, or if you are a teen, talk about it with your friends.
Dating violence isn't the norm, and it isn't right - speak up! If you have ever been a victim of dating violence, please contact the shelter, we're here to help!
